I was told a Barbra Streisand autograph sells for much more than a Mick jagger, Keith Richards, as valuable and worth as much as a John lennon autograph. And
she is not Dead yet.

She is MrHess! And this was something that took years of therapy for me to realize. Because when I was 14 some old dude hit on me while my parents were dancing
at some fancy restaurant and his excuse to them, when he had the crap-in-his-pants realization that I was not only a minor but my folks were a mere 20 yards
away, was that he couldn't help himself because I looked just like Barbra Streisand. I cried for about 3 months straight. It was 1974 - her beauty was not
widely accepted yet. So now I accept my inner Streisand, I love her, I send her white light (she does prefer the soft, white lights, I believe) but more
importantly, she's a woman who can kick some ass. And face it, we've all got a Yentl somewhere in our careers....

I don't know why I feel a need to share this but I will....
When I was a young girl I "ruined" (my mothers words) my Barbie doll when I transformed her eye makeup into Barbra (circa "Funny Girl"). When mom passed away I grabbed all her Streisand albums & CD's... plus Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, etc, etc. In the 90's she admitted that R&R was here to stay, much to her surprise! She enjoyed some Stones stuff (ie: Stones "lite" - lol) but hated the lips/tongue logo. |
