I'm thinking credit cards right? They've been jacking good credit scores up to 20% and 30% rates. If you cancel it actually drops your credit score.

Yes...credit card rate...I've wondered how much it really does lower ones score to close an account....best to all

I think it's stupid that it even lowers your credit score at all if YOU cancel the card. The dumbass reasoning behind it is that if you close it there must
be something bad going on moneywise. No duh, but if you close it before yo miss payments that's being responsible yet you still penalized for it. Just
stupid
