I met someone who works in the new Yankee Stadium and Cohl was discussing available dates a few months ago. Also heard the Stones were checking out the Brooklyn Bridge Park for May 2010. OK, to be the first concert played at the new field would be another milestone for the Stones, and it isnt far from the Brooklyn Bridge either. Could possibly be the tour opener?

I have heard that they will be taking the ferry from Bridgeport to Pt. Jefferson, NY & will make the announcement on the dock there. I'm deadly
serious.

May 2010 seems a bit early for the tour opener, so I agree with Doug, Brooklyn Bridge is probably for the announcement.

I know the ferry dock in Bpt. well.
There is a restaurant/bar there too, and lots of dock room, so this tale could be plausible. I will keep an eye on this. As for the city of Bridgeport, lets just say I spent a week there one day........ |

Lots of worthy venues in and around New York for the Stones to play. Hell they will probably play a few different venues in NYC next time around.
May 2010? Seems to soon to me but I would just be guessing. If I had a good Stones prize to giveaway I could start a pool for opening night
