Bite the Big Apple Posts: 271 Apr 19 08 8:53 PM PRIDE	Tags : None Someone on IORR was asking about the silver coins that were a merchandise item on Steel Wheels so given I had already taken the picture I thought I might as well start another thread with yet another variety of stuff! Here you can see the set of 6 in the green velvet case. It is important if you have a set that you don't throw away the custom white card slipcase as many unfortunately have, it renders the item incomplete :-( For the absolute completist or clinically insane (I am definately one or the other) there is also a mega rare concept set which has smaller heads as seen under the merchandise set here below. These were not approved and the issued set was made with larger heads.

Bite the Big Apple Posts: 271 Apr 20 08 9:15 PM PRIDE	One of the coolest promo items ever! A 40 Licks promo Roberts Radio. This came in 4 colours. Orange as seen here but also powder blue, powder pink and I think a light green (it is 3am). I only have the orange one :-(

Bite the Big Apple Posts: 271 Apr 20 08 9:19 PM PRIDE	This is the No Security Tour Crew Gift. This was given to the crew as a thank you for the tour. It is a full catelogue of Virgin CD's in a custom flight case. 220 of the cases were made but not all of them have the plaque inside the lid as the order was upped after the plaques had been commissioned. It is very hard to find, especially with the custom stamped white shipping box.

I don't have the white shipping box,but I do have 1 of these with the cd's,and it does have the plaque inside and mine has a card(with the guy who received it)saying "Thanks for a great tour!"The Rolling Stones,Prince Rupert Lowenstein & Michael Cohl"I'm sure the card is inside that envelope that says 'Thanks for the fantastic tour'.Its really sturdy too!That clasp hinge to open is real solid.On the left side I was able to fit all of the SACD's too and some of the other recordings after B2B,its completely full now.Everything you need in one box ~I don't think rock 'n' roll should be analyzed,or even thought about deeply~Keith '81 Edited 2 times by kmrc4ever Jun 21 08 7:33 PM.
