And though I think Robertson is the closer of the future, I can give a darn good argument why it should be Soriano. 1) Robertson is a strike out pitcher. He throws a lot of pitches and gets himself in and out of trouble. This means he throws a lot of pitches. This could make it tough for him to pitch 3 days in a row when needed. 2) Soriano has been a closer in the past. He knows how to do it and I think he focuses better in the closer's role. 4) Soriano has a contract that allows him to opt out every year. Knowing Mo will be back next year, he may opt out of the deal so he can be a closer for another team. This is win/win situation in my book. He gets to be a closer again and the Yanks get out from under a shitty contract. But again, I think it will end up being Robertson. HEAR IT FOR A THOUSAND MILES!!!
