CHITTER CHATTER Posts: 357 Apr 8 12 6:40 AM	Wow, the trash talking starts early around here. There's 160 games left. You guys really take your baseball seriously. For the 1st time since 1980 both the Yankees and Jr. Yankees start out 0-2, so baseball season is off to a good start. Tigers will fold like a cheap tent, probably won't get out of their own division. The AL champion will be coming out of the AL west.

For example, I hate the sox but the fenways faithful here are all great guys. Sure, I hope they cry just a little at the end of the season while I'm at a in the Canyon of Heroes watching yet another Yankees World Series Championship parade, but I know their hoping for the opposite and I'm ok with that. HEAR IT FOR A THOUSAND MILES!!!

At 0-3 i am keeping my mouth shut lol Mi Jim's tigers look strong out of the gate with much help from the Red Sox pitching staff .Tell me if you heard this one before Bob .Mark Melancon was told when he was coming up with the yanks that he would one day be the replacement for Rivera . This was actually mentioned during yesterdays broadcast . His era after two appearances is a nice and even 36.00

CHITTER CHATTER Posts: 357 Apr 9 12 11:20 PM	Yankees and Jr. Yankees get their first wins today. Even though its my favorite sport, baseball isn't important this time of year. What is important is keeping a team from Canada from winning the stañley cup. A Canadian team last won was 1993, sandwiched in between two blue jay world series championships. I hated it when Canada won the world series so as punishment they should never win the Stanley cup again.

Not only has Mo been the greatest closer of all time, he has carried himself with grace and dignity his entire career. He is certainly out for the season and unless he decides to come back next year, his career is over. But I really want to see him go out of the game on the mound, where he belongs. I was thinking about it last night. Below is a picture of my two sons. Kyle (23) and Stephen (5). When Mo started pitching fore the Yankees, Kyle was Stephen's age. He basically has no recollection of the Yankees without Rivera. HEAR IT FOR A THOUSAND MILES!!!

High on the platter Posts: 15269 May 4 12 5:04 PM Dressed in Plastic Bags	I know what your saying Ray but Mo doesn't work out. It's his way of warming up and getting loose before game. He never dives after a ball. He does it because he loves it. He has played 1,149 games and basically shagged flies before every one of them, weather permitting, without incident. Statistically, he was injured .00087% of the times he did it for 18 years and nobody thought twice about it until a freak injury happened. I understand your point but I just respectfully disagree. I can see telling an athlete that he can't ride a motorcycle or go mountain-climbing or something like that but I simply can not see telling a major league baseball player that he can't shag fly balls. Again, just my opinion and that doesn't make me right or wrong. The great news is that Rivera said that he is definitely coming back and may even be ready in 3 to 5 months. HEAR IT FOR A THOUSAND MILES!!!
